If one of your favorite places to get your French fix is Balzac Brasserie, you better get your fill now.
The comforting bistro in the Rendezvous Hotel is set to dish out its last plates of pâté, escargots and duck confit Dec 31. The management have cited parking restraints and ongoing construction around the hotel with plenty of road diversions as part of the reason they’re closing up shop here.
Fret not: come April 2015, the bistro will open in a new location. It’s supposedly set to open a more spacious restaurant with a destination dining atmosphere, complete with lush greenery and an alfresco area.
