We knew this was coming, and now we know when. The second Shake Shack in Singapore— after the very first one at Jewel Changi Airport—will be swinging its doors open in the first quarter of 2020, and where else but right at the doorstep of Keong Saik along Neil Road.
It’s taking over a corner standalone block that used to house offices and even a Tiger Balm factory back in the day, but with the beautiful hoarding they’ve put up, you’d likely never have known. They’ve engaged famed local artist Sam Lo (aka SKL0) to design artworks that blends Shake Shack’s icons with traditional Peranakan cultural patterns to be put up on the hoardings. They’re already up for your Instagram pleasure, and those who post using hashtag #shackartintown might even win exclusive Shake Shack Neil Road swag.
Not much has been revealed about the menu itself at this second store, but it’s safe to assume that it’ll be the same as what’s offered over at Jewel. As long as the the classic ShackBurger and Shroom Burger is available, we’re good anyways.
And heads up for those who’ve been waiting for the massive queues to subside over at Singapore’s very first Shake Shack—the time is likely gonna be now.
Shake Shack‘s second Singapore restaurant will be located at 89 Neil Road. Opens daily from 11am.
