Shangri-La Hotel launches new Waterfall Café with Mediterranean menu

Following the launch of its remodeled Garden Wing last month, Shangri-La Hotel has opened Waterfall Café, a colonial-inspired restaurant surrounded by lush greenery and featuring Mediterranean fare care of chef de cuisine Shephane Cocu.
Sample offerings include sea bass carpaccio served with fennel and orange salad ($16) and The Socca ($21), roasted vegetables with fresh herb salad, pesto and spicy tomato coulis.
Those with a sweet tooth will appreciate desserts such as coconut panna cotta with strawberry confit ($8), as well as lychee soup with summer fruits and orange sherbet ($10).
