Another food festival is underway in Singapore

If anything, July is not the month to scrimp and save on treating yourself to some really good food, especially when the Singapore Restaurant Festival (SRF) is on for three full months from Jul 1-Sep 30, as part of this year’s 25th Singapore Food Festival (SFF).

Organized by Restaurant Association of Singapore (RAS), which represents more than 700 brands that operate about 3,600 outlets in Singapore, ranging from restaurants and caterers to fast food and food courts, the festival doesn’t technically have offer cool restaurant/chef collabs, special dishes, or a dedicated area where outlets come together under a theme like the other events under SFF per se, but what it hopes to do is to reward Singaporeans for indulging in our unofficial hobby of eating. In short, they want to enable you by giving away up to $500 worth of dining vouchers each month whenever you dine at one of the 63 participating restaurants.

The terms are simple: All you have to do is to have a meal at one of the participating restaurants, register yourself online (technically you could sign up first) or approach one of the restaurant’s staff to help you with registration and collect a stamp when you’re done, and that’s pretty much it. You can get up to five stamps per dining session; one for just dining there, one for dining at a featured restaurant of the month, one when you order a salted egg dish and two if you settle your bill using a DBS or POSB credit/debit card. To stand a chance to win the vouchers in the four lucky draws that will take place during the course of SRF, you’ll need to accumulate at least six stamps. Participating outlets include Bedrock Bar & Grill, Dean & Deluca, Hill Street Coffee Shop, Punjab Grill, TungLok Teahouse, Two Hana, and so many more.

And if you don’t win, well, at least you had a good meal, right? Full details and list of participating restaurants here.
