Dine on Sri Lankan delicacies for a good cause at this Singapore restaurant

New-ish modern Australian restaurant Cheek by Jowl is putting out a special menu on Jun 19 to help with aid efforts for the Sri Lanka flood disaster that happened in May.

From a minimum amount of $80++, the menu features a six-course Sri Lankan meal, comprising tapas and four to five dishes for sharing. Diners can expect items like pickled tuna, black pork curry, chili prawns, pickled eggplant, coconut sambal and watalappan with cardamon ice cream (coconut custard and ice cream made of spices). All proceeds will benefit the Foundation of Goodness, a humanitarian non-profit organization based in Sri Lanka.
