Skip the cheesy gestures for a rollicking romance*

[SPONSORED] We’re willing to bet that Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne never did a five-course wine dinner at a super fancy restaurant for V-Day. Nor John Lenon and Yoko Ono. And certainly not Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale.

It’s far more likely than they killed a bottle of gin and ate a bunch of burgers and fries and wrote a song before bed.

If this sounds like your idea of true love, here’s a V-Day menu for you.

For the month of February, Hard Rock Cafe has some serious drink specials to inject some fun into romance. There’s a special 36oz mojito ($30) served in a giant margarita glass that’s perfect for two and made with Hendrick’s, elderflower syrup, mint, lime and Monin cucumber. (Don’t worry, the cocktail is also available in a 12oz glass for a special price of $16 in February.) There’s also a special promo where a bottle of Hendricks ($180) gets you free flow sodas.

To go with, order up the famous New York strip steak ($47) with garlic butter and smashed potatoes and the lip-smacking Hickory-smoked ribs ($33) that comes with fries and slaw.

But for the perfect Valentine’s Day ironic touch, the burgers are your best bet. The Original Legendary ($27) burger comes with a whopping 10oz of meat, bacon, cheddar and onion rings on the side. Or, go all out for the bacon and cheese wagyu burger ($32) that comes with a decadent 6oz of wagyu meat, bacon strips and melted Jack cheese.

Seriously, what could be more romantic than an evening full of live music, hearty nosh and some fun gin mixers?

The deals are available at both Hard Rock Cafe Singapore and Resorts World Sentosa.
