Serving up authentic flavours of home and heritage since 1991, popular homegrown restaurant chain Soup Restaurant has captured the hearts and tummies of generations of Singaporeans for the past 3 decades. This year, in celebration of their 31st anniversary, fans will be delighted to learn that they’ve launched two exclusive dine-in set menus in commemoration of the momentous occasion.
Boasting their signature heritage flavours and familiar dishes that most of us grew up eating, the celebratory sets are available from now till Sep 30.
Suitable for all occasions, forge new memories over classic favourites from Soup Restaurant as their limited-time menus are suitable for groups as small as a pair, and as big as 10 pax.
Key highlights on the Anniversary menu include the must-have Samsui Ginger Chicken, arguably the brand’s most iconic dish, best enjoyed with their Samsui ginger sauce and a layer of crunchy lettuce, the spicy Ah Kon Fan Shu Leaves, where handpicked and trimmed sweet potato leaves are stir-fried with the brand’s homemade Samsui sambal sauce, and Tofu Prawns, pairing succulent prawns with silky egg tofu, doused in sweet and tangy chilli crab-inspired sauce.
Not up for spicy flavours? The family-friendly restaurant offers non-spicy versions of all spicy dishes upon request.
Also on the Anniversary menu are stars such as the HK Steamed Uncle Lapan Fish and Double-boiled Waisan & Ginseng Rootswith Pork Loin Soup. Then round off your meal with the Soup Restaurant’s own handmade Mini Longevity Buns and refreshing Red Tea Jelly with Aloe Vera dessert.
Alternatively, go for the likes of Crab Meat Fish Maw Soup, Cereal Prawns, Braised Fish Curd with Thick Mushroom & Broccoli, and Sweet and Sour Pork with the Celebration Set.
Throughout this period, fans who prefer to dine from the comfort from home may also enjoy 31% off their online exclusive 9-course Classic Set for 5 pax, for orders placed via Soup Restaurant’s website.
