Singapore’s Spa Esprit Group opens Tiong Bahru Bakery

Fans of baked goods will be especially pleased to know that there’s yet another fresh new arrival, Tiong Bahru Bakery, which threw open its doors just a week ago.
Pick up French treats such as croissants ($2.50), kouign amann ($3.50) and baguettes ($3.90) at this 40-seater, a joint venture between Gontran Cherrier, a French celeb chef with two television shows and nine baking books under his belt, and the Spa Esprit Group. Also expect a top notch coffee program by Harry Grover, head barista and owner of 40 Hands.
