Spanish restaurant Catalunya set to open in Marina Bay’s Fullerton Pavilion mid July

Contemporary Spanish restaurant Catalunya is set to open in mid-July at Marina Bay’s Fullerton Pavilion.
The slick space is encased in a glass dome floating on the water. The team behind the design is award-winning New York design firm, AvroKO (they also worked on stunning New York City hotspots like Saxon & Parole, The Stanton Social and Public). The dining destination will offer clear views of the cityscape and Marina Bay Sands.
The 120-seat 4,300 square-foot space boasts a team trained at the world’s top eateries including El Bulli, Santi, Drolma and Sketch. Both executive chef Alain Devahive Tolosa and restaurant manager Pol Perelló have 12 years of experience working at El Bulli.
Their resident mixologist Dario Nocentini has worked all over Europe, earning accolades at competitions such as the Merlet Sidebar Cocktail Competition and Bacardi Superior Legacy Cocktail Competition.
