Hot tapas bar Esquina by Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton and French-Japanese fine dining spot LP+Tetsu have both introduced exciting new menus.
Over at Esquina, a seasonal menu by executive chef Andrew Walsh has been unveiled. Tapas like the Georges Bank seared scallops with duck green curry and coconut rice ($35) inject Asian influence, but what really stands out is the warm thyme and onion bread with smoked bone marrow butter ($12); a must-try. Other highlights include the Mini Spanish Breakfast ($12), the seared foie gras with barbequed smoked eel ($24), and the chocolate mousse with vanilla churros ($16).
As for LP+Tetsu, Michelin-starred chef Laurent Peugeot has added new creations to the a la carte menu, including starters like the Brittany lobster nori maki ($52), seafood options like codfish with saikyo miso and shitake mushroom ($48), meats such as kurobuta pork ($70) and desserts like the strawberry-flavored matcha dome ($24 each). Additionally, there’s also the new Simply LP+Tetsu menu (from $58), where you can mix and match dishes to create your very own French-Japanese fusion meal.
