The glamping trend isn’t going away anytime soon. You’ve probably already heard of Jewel and The Fullerton Hotel Singapore setting up luxury tents for guests to stay or dine in.
Now, Tablescape at Grand Park City Hall is offering its own Glamping Picnic experience. Guests will be ushered to the rooftop terrace of the hotel where they’ll lounge under dramatic black metal scaffolding set against a sprawling city skyline.
A tall white tent offers luxury and comfort with a beautifully decorated, air-cooled interior—think plush cushions, a low dining table, fairy lights and other charming embellishments.
But what’s a picnic without great food? The exclusive menu by Tablescape features easy-to-eat bite-sized items such as the all-important cheese platter, lobster blinis topped with caviar, foie gras on housemade brioche, and an adorable Mini Beef Burger with juicy wagyu beef patty, mushroom, bacon, onions, cheese, truffle mayonnaise and a quail’s egg.
Choose to accompany your meal with free-flow soft drinks, beer, wine or the restaurant’s own drinks list.
If you prefer table service, there’s the gazebo option where you’ll enjoy a four-course degustation menu in a discreet corner of the terrace. Note that a maximum of five persons can be accommodated in each of the tents and gazebo, and you only have two hours to dine.
The Glamping Picnic experience is also available as part of the Glampcation package for hotel guests who purchase stays in selected suites such as the Junior Suite, the Park Suite and the Coleman Suite.
