India’s Ferran Adria is cooking at Bacchanalia this Friday

If you haven’t been to his perpetually booked-up restaurant in Bangkok, here’s your chance to experience Indian gastronomy bad-boy Gaggan Anand’s cuisine right here in Singapore.

As international chefs are flocking to the city ahead of the San Pellegrino Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants announcement next week, Gaggan and Bacchanalia’s chef Ivan Brehm are collaborating  for a one-night only dinner. The Four Hands dinner sees the two chefs creating a modern dishes with tons of fresh ingredients and contemporary techniques. Although it costs a pretty penny, at $588 per head, you get a nine course dinner of small plates.

The two chefs will whip up separate plates for each course, which means you get a total of 18 dishes throughout the night. While Chef Gaggan sticks to his signature modern Indian gastronomic cuisine, Chef Brehm continues to experiment with fresh produce and textures in the Bacchanalia style.

It’s a a splurge at $588, but we think he’s pretty much the only Indian chef cooking like this.
