Mo Bar, Mandarin Oriental
Mo Bar’s New Delhi Soma
Adding a dash of excitement to the bar scene is Mo Bar’s first-ever interactive digital menu. Featuring the bar’s Volume Three menu that was launched in Nov 2020, the one-of-a-kind “cocktail navigator” takes customers on a journey where they explore the history and culture of their chosen destinations across the Asia Pacific.
Choose from a “constellation” of drinks set against a twinkling night sky and listed according to their alcohol content and height of drinking vessel.
Regionally inspired drinks are depicted in vibrant colours and animations, each with a complete description, story and photo of the drinks. From the non-alcoholic New Delhi Soma with yoghurt, chutney and spices to the Jakarta Moka with rum, chocolate and banana, it’s a refreshing way to discover the drinks beyond the traditional paper menu.

Writers Bar, Raffles Hotel Singapore
Writers Bar’s Femme Fatale
The storied Writers Bar has reopened, and is now helmed by new head bartender Nicholas Alexander. A tribute to the many famous authors who have stayed at Raffles Hotel Singapore throughout the years, the bar offers artisanal 1915 Raffles Gin cocktails and a special selection of handcrafted cocktails.
The latter is inspired by the colourful characters of The Raffles Affair, a murder mystery novel penned by the latest Writer-in-Residence, Vicki Virtue, a seasoned travel writer and aspiring New Zealander author.
Get to know the glamorous protagonist Victoria West by ordering Agent Provocateur, made with Blandy’s 5 Year Bual Madeira, El Dorado 12, Concord Grenadine, lemon and mint; or be charmed by the beautiful Femme Fatale, a cocktail personifying the glamorous bride, Peyton Latchmor. Other tantalising drinks to “unravel the mystery” include False Alibi and Saboteur. These cocktails will be served alongside new curated Gourmet Collection bar snacks in the sophisticated lobby bar.
