In the blink of an eye, one of our favorite weekend brunch and dinner spots, The Summerhouse, has turned a year old. Tucked in a corner of Seletar Aerospace Park away from the city center, the farm-to-table multi-concept space is celebrating its anniversary with expanded offerings, and more importantly, now utilises the beautiful lawn space surrounding the two-storey colonial bungalow.
The best addition has got to be the three garden domes—illuminated, climate controlled bubble structures sitting by The Summerhouse’s edible garden (now in full bloom after a year of cultivation) that’s perfect for exclusive small-group gatherings and romantic dinners for two.
You can even choose the kind of interiors you want, based on Bohemian, Scandinavian or Lounge themes. Food wise, diners can choose from The Summerhouse Dining Room or Wildseed Garden Bar dinner menus (with a minimum spend).
Speaking of which, The Summerhouse Dining Room has also gotten a refresh with the addition of an air-conditioned veranda space overlooking the trees. There’s a new menu concept as well, one that’s focused on communal sharing and locally-sourced ingredients.
