The third edition of charity dinner The Hawker Sessions is set to happen August 23 at Tiong Bahru Food Market.
For each of the sessions, members of the public head down to the designate hawker center for dinner and for each dish purchased, they are asked to donate a couple of dollars to the collections jar (there’s one on each table).
As people eat, there will also be live auctions to raise additional funds, offering everything from yoga classes to clothes and meals. The aim for the upcoming session is to raise $3,133.75 to benefit members of the Tan Tock Seng Hospital Community Charity Fund HELP (Helping Elderly Patients) progam.
