Yet another virtual bakery has found a physical home, and this time, it’s Tigerlily Patisserie that’s serving up the sweets. Born amidst the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, the online business known for its dessert boxes is now located in the charming neighbourhood of Joo Chiat.
Helmed by former Michelin-starred pastry chef Maxine Ngooi, the founder provides a myriad of sweet and savoury eats at her specialty shop.
For hearty mains, go for the Build-Your-Own Big Brekkie or the Salmon Tzatziki ciabatta sandwich.
But we recommend that you save (a lot) of room in your belly for Insta-worthy treats such as the gorgeous Beehive and Pink Guava and Pear.
While the former is made with honey, jelly, white chocolate and honey parfait, the latter is an intricate rendition of fresh fruits and flowers.
Finally, feel free to get some of their freshly baked bread offerings to-go; that includes pastries like croissants and kouign-amann as well as the Ciabatta and Sourdough.
