This five-course degustation menu includes classic dishes like grilled ocean seabass with lemon thyme cashew crust and wagyu sirloin with twice-baked potato and salsa verde. Courses are paired with the restaurant’s new range of Italian boutique wines like a 2010 Sangiovese di Romagna Riserva.
Toriyama Umami Wagyu Dinner (Aug 28-29)
Jason Atherton’s beautiful restaurant Pollen also gets in on the action with a seven-course wagyu dinner supplied by Japan’s Toriyama farm. This decadent dinner is a meat lovers’ dream where all courses incorporate the much-prized grade A4 beef. Black Market Fine Wine Dinner (Sep 24-25)
Black Angus beef is the star of the show at this dinner with dishes like tartar with raspberry and confit egg yolk and chuck ribs with juniper and bourbon infusion. Wine pairings this time are courtesy of Spain’s Miguel Torres winery.
