New in the perennially hip Dempsey hood is The Dempsey Brasserie (#01-03 Blk. 7 Dempsey Rd., 6473-4500), an eatery that opened just last week. They’re still in their soft opening phase, so the menu at the moment is pretty trim. We spotted items like mini prime Angus cheeseburgers with shoestring fries ($16), grilled Cumberland-garlic sausages on parsnip and apple-infused mash with caramelized onion gravy ($26) and truffle oil-scented angel hair pasta with creamy forest mushrooms ($22).
Another addition to the stable of restaurants in the area is the Privé Group’s latest offering, Roadhouse (#01-07 Blk. 13 Dempsey Rd., 6476-2922), which officially opens on Jul 4.
