WATCH: Wallet-friendly fusion baos, steaks and cocktails in Chinatown

When affordable fusion food that tastes just as good as it looks is handed to us on a platter, we run and spread the news. Local bao specialist Bao Makers has reinvented its fusion bao concept, and opened with a new venue, new flavors, and even an in-house steakbar.

After good response to the concept, which opened in 2015, founder and entrepreneur Pang Suyi decided it was time to expand the space and menu; and thus Bao Makers 2.0 (and Butler’s Steak) was born. Best of all, even with the new location on Jiak Chuan Road, a proper feast there won’t set you back by very much at all.
