It’ll be a hot and cold experience here. The hotel’s Lobby Lounge promises a visual and sensorial satisfaction with delectable offerings personifying fire and ice across five courses.

Start with savouries such as Smoked Haddock with mentaiko emulsion on a puffed rice cracker, Bacon Cheese Quiche and Pulled Chicken Croissant— all accompanied by a selection of aromatic tea. Then comes the sweet with scones served with passionfruit chocolate spread, clotted cream and berry jam. 

The Ice element of the experience includes a fresh raspberry sorbet and a side of sparkling wine. The fourth course introduces Fire with Baba Au Rhum that incorporates flavours of its signature cocktail, the Plantation 1840; and a fiery dessert that literally goes up in flames.

The session ends with the fifth and last course with more sweet treats, cheesecakes and tarts.

The Premium Korean Strawberries Afternoon Set for Two ($60 per person) offers mouth-watering savouries including the Egg Mimosa Croissant Sandwich and Mushroom Tartlet before showcasing saccharine strawberries in a variety of French pastries, tartlets and cakes. To wash those bite-sized treats down, choose a homemade dairy-free strawberry milk beverage, or some thirst-quenching strawberry lemonade

The Grand Lobby at Raffles Hotel Singapore welcomes spring with the new Sakura Afternoon Tea and Kyoto Afternoon Tea experiences from Mar 15 to Apr 11, and Apr 12 to May 30 respectively. Indulge in a selection of classic Japanese treats and unique creations by executive pastry chef Tai Chien Lin. 

The Sakura Afternoon Tea features delights such as Sakura Panna Cotta, Sakura Ice Cream Monaka, and Sakura Strawberry Eclair, in beautiful shades of pink of course. The Kyoto Afternoon Tea features treats like Chestnut Tartlet, Hojicha Tiramisu, and Yuzu Eclair, amongst other delicacies inspired by the cultural city.
