Why you should sign up for this Valentine’s Day his & hers menu*

[SPONSORED] ME@OUE is doing a special set menu for Valentine’s Day. Coupled with their tripartite kitchen and impressive location, a dinner here is guaranteed to charm your date. And if you need any more convincing, here are five other reasons to book.

Alfresco aperitifs. The sky high restaurant has an adjoining bar and terrace. Order up a round or two of martinis and Champagne to start the evening off on the right note.

The best of all worlds. The restaurant is famous for its three-cuisine kitchen that pushes out French, Japanese and Chinese plates, so expect touches of all in the Valentine’s Day set dinners.

Subverting gender norms. On Feb 14, the restaurant is serving specially designed his & her menus, with appetizers like sashimi (mikan buri, scallop and flounder) for her and crystal prawns with mango sauce for him; and mains like sea bream with kumquats and fennel for her and wagyu grilled striploin with sesame sauce for him. And even if you’re not into all that traditional stuff, we think it would be fun go to and reverse-order.

The option to supersize. There’s the option of a three-course dinner ($98, 6pm). But if you have a bit of time—presumably you didn’t double book on Valentine’s Day—you can sign up for the five-course set ($198, 8pm).

The eye candy. Perched on the rooftop level, ME@OUE has ridiculous views of Marina Bay and the central business district, and on V-Day, you need all the wows you can get. That does mean, however, that these plush seats are going to be hot tickets. So get booking now.

$98 per person at 6pm; $198 per person at 8pm. Available Feb 14. ME@OUE is located at Rooftop Level, OUE Bayfront, 50 Collyer Quay, 6634-4555.
