Last year, the folks at Wild Rocket announced that the restaurant would cease operations on December 1, much to our dismay and stated that they were in the midst of looking for a new location. After an eight-month hiatus, the mod Sin establishment is finally reopening in July, but turns out they will remain at the Hangout Hotel premises at Mount Emily.
Chef Willin Low’s well-loved creations like iberico pork char siew and laksa pesto pasta will still be on the menu—the mod Sin concept (local dishes with Western influences) is still the main focus, though new dishes are to be expected. “Wild Rocket opened in 2005 and our signature dish was the laksa pesto pasta. When we reopen, there will be a new dish also inspired by laksa and equally boomz (to borrow a word from Ris Low).”
Wild Rocket will reopen at Hangout @ Mount Emily, 10A Upper Wilkie Rd.
