Recently launched, 3rd Culture Brewing Co. is a hawker stall at Maxwell Food Centre that offers another alternatives to the usual Tiger, Heineken or Carlsberg options with their selection of craft beers. The stall is definitely a great addition to the hipster meets not-so-fancy food center vibes trend—think hawker cups and round chairs.
The beer stall has a selection of 12 taps (they rotate them weekly), which offers an international range of craft beers from breweries such as Holgate Brewhouse, Green Flash Brewing, Maisel Brauerei, Heretic Brewing Company and more. You’ll be able to have your hawker food fix and your craft beer cravings satisfied in one spot with prices starting from $8 for a 12 ounce cup.
If you’re not sure where it exactly is, keep a look out for the stall located opposite Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice, or as their owner says, “Follow the hip hop beats blasted from the stall,” and you’ll find their beer.
