Arbite

We know it’s hardly downtown Singapore, but that’s part of Arbite’s charm. This cozy nook is all the way out in Serangoon (a mere one-minute walk from Chomp Chomp); just trek up to the second floor for some fresh handmade pasta. Chef and proprietor Marc Wee makes a batch from scratch everyday, so be sure to have a plate of pappardelle with shrooms, parma ham, onions, garlic and shallots in a decadent cream sauce. Also noteworthy is the meltingly tender Asian-spiced lamb shank.

Have you tried the Mushroom and Parma Ham Pappardelle? It’s one of I-S Magazine’s 50 things to eat in Singapore before you die (2010).
