Ardent’s

If you’re a fan of waffles and other breakfast classics, you’ll love this recent addition to Chinatown. A cute and cozy spot in a two-storey shophouse that serves up breakfast all day, there’s a range of sandwiches (from $12.80) and egg dishes, including asparagus, mushroom and tomato omelet ($13.80) and Eggs Blackstone ($13.80), to fill up on. We suggest putting an order in for some pancakes with peanut butter and blueberries (weird, but it works) or mascarpone-Nutella ($12.80). They also have wines (from $11 a glass), beers (from $11) and cocktails (from $16) like Black Forest Royal Mojito ($20) and Pizza Martini ($18) to quench your thirst.
