This restaurant is like country‑themed joints such as Country Manna and Kenny Rogers Roasters. There was a sizeable crowd already in the restaurant when we arrived, and the first thing we noticed was the lone waiter in the dining area taking orders at the next table. With just the one waiter doing all the bussing and waiting tables, it took us a whole 15 minutes before we placed our order. The food took almost 30 minutes to arrive and, sadly, it was very disappointing. The Appetizer Platter, a mix of deep fried calamari, mushrooms, spicy wings and stuffed potato skins, was cold and the portions too small. The chicken Italiano was too salty and we left it alone after a few bites. The honey pork ribs was also a letdown despite being one of the signature dishes. The coriander lamb stew was commendable though, reminding us of a mild version of sup kambing (Indian mutton soup). Perhaps for prices as low as those here, it would be unrealistic to expect too much.
