Becasse (Dempsey Hill)

The group’s first-ever full format restaurant Becasse expands fromthe more casual takeaway ION Orchard outlet. Expect a full seafood bar, heftier main courses and of course, a freshly-baked patisserie counter.

The monochromatic restaurant echoes an Old World European atmosphere with classic French dishes like pan fried foie gras with dark chocolate ganache ($16), pear & Roquefort tarte tatin ($14) and moules mariniere ($28). That aside, their seafood bar is stocked with market catches that includes the likes of king prawns, oysters and Alaskan king crab legs. Desserts include over 15 different freshly-made tarts and cakes like rhubarb & pistachio tart ($4.90) and strawberry mille-feuille ($6.90), crepes and waffles (both $9), among others.
