CATO

This restaurant and bar takes over the heritage building formerly occupied by The Vault and OCBC Bank. It serves modern Asian dishes in a rough and industrial decorated space with lots of distressed steel, dark stained wood and rough-hewn brick walls. Expect dishes like spicy prawn risotto, duck confit with Indian spiced leek and pan-roasted snapper with cous cous and salted egg-red pepper coulis. The 46-seater restaurant also has smaller tapas-style dishes of crispy squid with smoked quail eggs, beer beef chilli & cheese, as well as cheese fries and popcorn chicken.

Drinks-wise, the restaurant focuses on craft beers with 14 taps of international brews like Crew Republic’s Drunken Sailor IPA and Schlenkerla Helles Lagerbier. If beer’s not your thing, go for simple cocktails made with artisanal spirits.
