The Buzz: Traditional nyonya kuehs get a makeover at this Peranakan patisserie.
What to Get: Everything here is hand made and this you can tell from the kuehs’ rustic, unevenly hewn edges. Look out also for modern interpretations of traditional items such as the chocolate ondeh ondeh and chendol agar agar (90 cents each).
Extras: Besides kuehs, Chinta Manis also has a range of muffins, cookies and cakes (try the vanilla yoghurt bundt cake).
