The buzz: A Spanish establishment set in the (boutique) Club Hotel by Harry’s Hospitality, just behind The Scarlet. The vibe: If you’re in the mood for star-gazing, the alfresco restaurant’s the place for you. Decked out in white chairs, it’s a nice open space. But if you’re looking for an intimate setting, then head down to the basement. Soft, yellow lights and a splattering of red create a cozy atmosphere. The food: The clue is in the name—expect loads of tapas. With classics such as patatas bravas ($12)—fried potatoes with a tangy tomato sauce, fried calamari rings ($15), 24 month cured Jamon ($20) and a cheese platter including Manchego and Mahon ($18). Yes, there are also paellas (from $40).The drinks: You’ll find a range of wines from Spain and the quintessential sangria. The more you guzzle, the more fun you’ll have (or so we’ve been told). Why you’ll be back: It’s a nice setup for a meal outdoors when the weather’s fine. Plus you can hit their rooftop bar, Ying Yang, for more boozing after.
