The homegrown ice cream brand that made its home in a cozy space under an HDB block at Toa Payoh has opened its second outlet at Gillman Barracks. Creamier Handcrafted Ice Cream and Coffee will be bringing the same affordable and tasty premium ice cream offerings and coffee to the contemporary arts cluster.
Seeing how the outdoor areas can get a little warm in Gillman Barracks, Creamier presents an option to take respite from the heat and to cool down with a cup of ice cream. Located among colonial buildings and lush greenery, the 132 sq m cafe takes visual cues from its surroundings for its decor, providing comfortable communal seating areas both indoors and outdoors that are perfect if you’re with a large group of friends.
There’s a rotating selection of 18 handcrafted ice cream flavors that are made from scratch daily so there’s something for everybody. Try premium flavors like the roasted pistachio ($4.20 per scoop, $16 for a pint), made using hand-ground and roasted Italian pistachios or local flavors like the sea salt gula melaka which uses pure palm sugar and sea salt from England ($3.30 per scoop, $11.60 per pint).
