Famed Japanese patisserie Henri Charpentier does quintessentially French desserts with a Japanese touch. Known for its signature Crepe Suzette, it takes French recipes and uses Japanese ingredients and techniques to reinterpret classics.
The 4,400 sq.ft. space takes cues from the Ginza outlet with touches of pink in a plush and modern space. Divided into three distinct sections, there’s a shop selling their boxed treats, a museum displaying the brand’s history and memorabilia, as well as a restaurant space accommodating up to 80 people with an alfresco area.
The menu features their signatures like the flambeed Crepe Suzette and some special Singapore-only items like the Dome ($29), a spherical strawberry dessert with chocolate and almonds that’s made-to-order tableside. Exclusive to this outlet, they’ve also got a Tarte Tatin ($18) that’s inspired by apple pies and is made with chocolate caramel mousse and sauteed apple pieces.
