Kinoshita BBQ restaurant is the first overseas outlet for the well-known yakiniku chain of restaurants that have been delighting diners in Osaka for over 20 years. Not only do they specialize in yakiniku—fresh meat and vegetables served with a special home-made tare dipping sauce—but also offer another specialty of gyu nabe, or hearty beef hot pot. Inside the 50-seater, booth seats make for cozy dining around the grill on the tables while customized ventilation hoods make sure diners don’t walk out of the restaurant smelling like grilled meat. While decor is sparse, the arresting feature mural of the iconic Mount Fuji is a nod to the restaurant’s Mt. Fuji hot pot, where the beef and vegetables are presented piled up like a mountain.
