As its name implies, one can expect fondue at this cozy place. With over 20 varieties of dips to choose from, the extremely attentive wait staff pointed out that the savory fondue is usually eaten as the entrée, and the sweet fondue as the dessert. We settled for the wild mushroom fondue, served with bread cubes and vegetables. The pot of cheese was conveniently kept warm on an electrical hotplate, and while it got a thumbs-up for its flavor, the texture could have been smoother and thicker. For the mains, we had the grilled beef rack with white wine and black pepper sauce, which was quite good but could have done with less pepper. We rounded off the meal with the the Irish cream fondue, served with fruits and ice cream, which was much better than the cheese fondue—it was delightfully thick and creamy. This is a good place for a casual, leisurely bonding session with a bunch of friends.
