This latest Italian eatery by the folks from Senso is endowed with clean-cut black chairs, white table cloths and posters embellishing its walls. The ambiance is homely yet elegant, and it has a decent selection of antipasti, main courses, pizzas and desserts.
We started off our dinner with the Affetati, a plate of mixed Italian cold cuts served with pickles. The slices of meat were lean and fresh, if a tad salty. For the main course, we tried the Puttanesca, an appealing and saucy dish of pasta liberally topped with tomato sauce, garlic and more. Black olives and chili kept it savory, preventing it from being overwhelmed by the tomato.
For dessert, we dug into the tiramisu. This was light and soft, but did not stand out from other tiramisus we’ve tried. The slice was big enough to delight two or three however.
Service in this eatery is great, with efficient and smiling waiters. If you’re looking for a serene hangout with generous portions of food, a relaxing ambiance and good service, this place is ideal.
