Opened by the guys who brought us Punjab Grill at Marina Bay Sands, Maziga Indian Bar & Grill has a strong focus on Indian street food, taking cues from big cities in India such as Mumbai, Goa, Chennai and more. Located within Clarke Quay, this contemporary restaurant takes patrons around India with is various city-centric dishes.
They’ve managed to stay casual and elegant at the same time, with its monochrome shades of brown, relaxed bar chairs and an alfresco dining area that sees high tables and stools. There’s an array of dishes to try, from tapas offerings like tandoori chicken wings ($16.90) and paneer tacos ($16.90) to more substantial traditional Indian dishes that will fill you up, such as chicken tikka ($18.50), prawn briyani ($24.50) and aloo gobi ($17.90), for the vegetarians.
You can also have some pre-game drinks before hitting the clubs around Clarke Quay with a selection of classic cocktails ($18) and their special concoctions that uses Indian flavours like Masala Dhaniya Martini and Kadipatta Margarita (all $18).
