SINGAPORE RESTAURANT

Min Jiang

A Chinese restaurant with excellent dim sum, pretty interiors and a breezy poolside setting.

This fancy hotel Chinese restaurant has been around since the 80s, offering up that classic combination of Peking duck, an impeccable dim sum selection, the kind of ambience that would please your parents and pitch-perfect service. But that doesn't mean Min Jiang is stuffy. It's probably one of the most sun-drenched restaurants of its kind, and those poolside patio seats are a rare thrill for upscale banquets with the fam.

Its contemporary interior, attractive furnishings and poolside dining option (the first for a Chinese restaurant) aside, it’s the consistently good food that makes Min Jiang worth a visit. The well-trained and efficient staff doesn’t hurt either, so you’d be just as comfortable having a business luncheon as you would a family get together. The delectable dim sum is a steady draw, too.
