NamNam Noodle Bar is doing it right with its first venture out of the shopping malls of Singapore. Called NamNam GO! (opening on May 3), this will be the Vietnamese pho chain’s inaugural express concept and which will be housed within a caravan stall at the graffiti-filled reinvented hawker Timbre+ at one-north. It will feature several items exclusive to this outlet, plus a different menu for lunch and dinner.
By day, expect servings of their usual Pho Australian Beef Steak Slices ($7.90) and Pho Chicken ($6.90), as well as bahn mi like their Caramelised 5-Spice Pork Belly ($6.90). By night, Vietnamese street food takes over with a small plates concept comprising dishes like Tangy Mango & Guava Salad, Prawns, Pork and Assorted Crackers ($6.90) and Crispy Fried Squid with Sriracha Mayonnaise ($5.90), plus staples like Hanoi Fried Tilapia Fillet with Galangal, Tumeric, Dill, with Vermicelli ($8.90) and Pork Two Ways with Vermicelli and Mekong Prawn Roll ($8.90).
If not getting a bottle or pint from Timbre+’s Bottle Shop, NamNam GO! is offering refreshing fruity spritzers like Honey-Kumquat Sparkling ($4.90), as well as their popular Salted Caramel-Banana Iced Coffee ($5.90) and Pandan-Red Bean Iced Milk Tea ($5.90).
