Asia’s first poke chain has set up base here in Singapore. Originally from Hong Kong, Pololi Singapore serves poke bowls with vibrant colors and locally-inspired flavors. Good news for folks working around Telok Ayer: yet another poke joint sprouting in the hood. The interior is designed with vivid tropical vibes with a contemporary twist, and you”ll be welcomed by the huge chalkboard menu at the front and a wheel counter where you’ll pick your flavors.
They offer 20 different types of flavors like the signatures, traditional spicy or yuzu salmon, as well as the weekly local-inspired specials like sweet onion teriyaki swordfish, Thai spicy tuna, Korean spicy tako, ginger marlin and sambal. The bowls come in two sizes—Keiki ($15.99) for 150g of poke and Kama’aina ($17.99) for 180g of poke. They also change their specials daily to keep things interesting. Besides the poké, they also serve Hawaiian snacks and desserts such as Spam Musubi, tropical granitas, as well as cold beers from Kona Brewing Co.
