Redpan

A joint venture by local architecture firm DP Architects and the owners of Grub, Redpan is an 80-seater bistro focusing on modern interpretations of Singapore cuisine.

The casual, open-concept space offers a menu of local comfort food with a Western spin, like the lup cheong mac & cheese ($12), prawn & hae bee hiam pasta with spicy shrimp paste and tagiatelle ($15), and Hainanese pork chop ($13). The homegrown theme extends to its dessert and drink selection, like the sticky date pudding that has local red dates ($8) and the banana milo dinosaur donuts ($7). Alcoholic choices include the sour plum shandy, made of sour plum, wheat beer and lemonade ($12) and local Archipelago beers on tap. For something a little more indulgent, Redpan also serves premium cuts of meat ranging from pork belly ($19) to beef short-rib with Bovil ($32).
