Ristorante Takada

Tucked among the shops at Alexis Apartments along Alexandra Road is this unassuming 26-seater Japanese-Italian restaurant. At its helm is chef Masahiro Takada, who honed his skills in Michelin-starred restaurants in both Italy and Japan. Masahiro combines his intimate knowledge of Japanese cuisine with the experience and skills he picked up during his eight year stint in Italy to create exciting Italian and Japanese fusion masterpieces. At this degustation- and omakase-only restaurant, seasonal ingredients like white asparagus and white truffles are imported from Europe, while the freshest seafood like Hokkaido scallops, Hokkaido sea urchin and bluefin tuna are imported from Tokyo’s Tsukiji Market. A tipple or two from the list of mostly Italian wines and Japanese sake completes any meal here.
