Roll Out Sushi Bar does sub sandwich-sized maki rolls with eclectic fillings. Some of these rolls have a more Japanese influence, like Emperor of the Sea ($5.90), which includes avocado, cucumber and wasabi mayonnaise. There’s also the Electric Una ($5.90), which is made from grilled unagi with tamago, kebayaki sauce and spring onions.
Local flavors come in the form of The Quacks ($4.90), which consists of black pepper smoked duck with hoisin sauce. If you’re into the basic stuff, the cheekily named Ham Some Cheese ($4.90) has gourmet ham, mayonnaise and a cheese stick in the middle. Lastly, there’s The Hainanese ($4.90), which is what happens when chicken rice gets the sushi treatment.
