Originally a hawker serving prawn mee, this Tiong Bahru joint got the full cafe upgrade but kept the original vintage look, signage included. Don’t be deceived by the black and white colonial feel, dishes include fried chicken waffles ($21.90) and umami brioche with a runny sunny side egg, mushroom ragout and bacon ($16.90). For hobbyist cafe hoppers, they also serve coffees using Papa Palheta beans.
