Sumiya

Styled as a retro dining establishment, the decor of the place features vintage enamel signs, copper crockery and glassware, plus traditional Japanese drums and water barrels. The restaurant offers a choice of fish, meat and vegetables for grilling over charcoal pots. Set lunches (from $17) are also available, where diners can pick a main dish (from more than 14 options) and two side dishes (from 30 items). To round out the menu, there are also deep-fried items (from $6), sashimi (from $8.80) and sushi (from $7.80). Drinks include sake, wines, shochu cocktails and value-for-money Asahi draft beers ($4.90).
