SushiAirways

This aviation-themed Japanese restaurant—designed to look like the interior of an airplane (think metal staircases and airline food carts)—is located on the second floor of a Kampong Glam shophouse. The menu comes care of chef EC Wong (formerly of Grand Hyatt Singapore’s mezza9) who dishes out an array of dishes like the mixed sashimi platter ($62) and Kurobuta pork katsu ($16). On the drinks list, find a selection of sake (from $31), wines (from $8), whiskies (from $11) and beers ($8.50). With windows looking out onto busy Baghdad Street, the cozy place is also great for people watching.
