TFS Private Works

Located just a street away from its predecessor, Amoy Street’s beloved The Flying Squirrel, TFS Private Works opened in December 2-15 and serves Japanese tapas and omakase-style dining with a modern twist. The interiors are just as contemporary as the menu, containing two distinct spaces: the high-ceilinged sushi bar with a marble bar top and lots of natural light, which seats 20; and a dimly lit, industrial cavern-like space which seats an additional 18. TFS Private Works is also Singapore’s first Suntory Hashuku’s bar, serving an impressive selection of Suntory whiskies, as well personal picks of Scottish single malts. All of this to say: the place is often buzzing with a mix of locals and expats at both lunch and dinner, so do be sure to make a reservation ahead of time.
