Umi+Vino @ Emporium Shokuhin

Serving fresh and premium seafood from Emporium Shokuhin’s live market, this seafood winebar located at Marina Square’s newest Japanese food wing is where you can find top quality shellfish and sashimi.

It’s a simple space with floor-to-ceiling windows, sleek metallic finishes and an expansive marble counter displaying the catches of the day. From the a la carte menu, diners can choose from eight to six different varieties of oysters like the award-winning Krystale from France. Other menu highlights include the bluefin tuna middle belly ($27 for three), Mikan-dai ($18 for five) a type of sea bream from the Ehime prefecture and the hot seafood platter ($138), comprising a half lobster, half crab, prawns, scallops and potatoes. Three and four-course set lunches are available at $26 ++ and $32 ++, with starter, mains and dessert options.

Drinks wise, pair your meal with wines and sakes, such as acclaimed Ferrari Trento range of Italian sparkling wines, featuring the Ferrari Perle 2007 which was awarded the “Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year” at the Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships 2015.
