Ushidoki Wagyu Kaiseki

This fine dining spot specializes in Ozaki beef from Miyazaki prefecture. The warm brick and wood space has just 26 seats spread across a tastefully furnished with a spacious counter—where you can see the chef at work—as well as a large cherry wood communal table. The chef, Osaka native Nobuaki Hirohashi, puts out kaiseki menus (from $130) featuring the speciality beef prepared in different styles, from sashimi to sukiyaki. To go with your meal, the restaurant offers wine and sake curated by Japanese wine expert, Motohiro Okoshi.
