The Vines Seafood and Steak Restaurant

The food here is delicious—and the portions are just the right size, so you’ll be satisfied without feeling like you’ve overeaten. And it’s great value for money. They do set lunches and combo sets, so if you can’t decide if you feel like steak, chicken or seafood, you can have them all in one dish. Mains come with vegetables or salad, potatoes or chips, so you get a balanced meal too. Their crayfish and braised oxtail is a hot favorite, and the crayfish is fresh and the oxtail very tender. Other dishes that had us hooked are the oyster Mornay and oyster Kilpatrick and lobster bisque. The garlic bread is toasted to a nice crispy texture and ideal for dunking in soup. There is also escargot, venison and lots of lobster on the menu, which is unusual for a casual family diner. We’ve been here a few times and we’ll keep coming back.
