#wtf

The IndoChine Group has debuted its first bottle shop concept with the opening of fuss-free bistro #wtf, short for wine, tapas and friends (though we know what they’re really going for), on Club Street. The venue sports an urban jungle look, quite literally, with vines and plants creeping along its facade and interior.

Though most are likely to come for its affordable drinks, as you would at any bottle shop, a selection of light bites inlcuding truffle potato mash with spiced rice popcorn ($9), spam cubes ($7) and an assortment of sliders ($12-$15) will fill you up nicely. For bigger groups, go for the artisan cheese ($22-$32) or charcuterie ($18-$28) platters.

On its drinks shelves are a selection of reasonably priced wine and craft beers. Expect the usual Cabernet Sauvignons and Pinot Noirs, along with $7-$10 bottled beers. The Singapore Blonde Ale ($7) with calamansi and pandan leaf notes has got our attention. Still, the star deal here belongs to the $9 per pint Archipelago brews on tap, which is a real steal especially on the Ann Siang stretch.
